  i'm not much of a poet, trev is the writer in this house, but i wrote a few lines earlier today about my feelings for him and my friends on the board, and he is encouraging me to post them, so here goes.

  how many disfellowshipping "offenses" would he find?.

  lets see....... the jwd up on my computer....links to psychic web sites....my smokes..books about the borg...my fiance who i live with....lottery tickets...... my birthday cards displayed on my desk.....the aposta pics on my computer......oh i could go on and on...but theres a few!.

  Not all necessarily DF offences, but naughty by JW standards;
  A basket of Easter eggs which my daughters have arranged nicely on the kitchen worktop.
  A file entitled "Watchtower Discrepancies" on the hallway cabinet.
  Some 18 rated films.
  Ray Franz and Richard Dawkins books on the dining room shelf.(And no WT literature).
  A ripped up 'No Blood' card in the bottom of the kitchen drawer.
  No skirts in my wardrobe except one that's far too short and tight to be modest.
  A box of Xmas, birthday, Mothers day, Fathers Day etc. cards from the kids.
  Oh and it's now 18:28 and I'm not getting ready for the memorial. (Is it tonight?)

  thankyou so much for all the good wishes you have sent us in the last few days, trev has been printing up the emails, pms and threads, and bringing the cards to show me every day, and i get a lift every time i see him coming in with more of your lovely messages to read.. it's been a tough time for both of us, and it won't get any easier.

  i am dreading chemo, to be honest, but i have to bear it, as i would anything that gives me hope.

  but that's for monday, and i am going to enjoy myself as much as i can this weekend.

  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Early Daylight Saving Time

  for the most part i rely on my computer clock to give me the right time.. well just missed an appointment because of that .

  i have adjusted the time several times - those senior's moments made me think i just forgot to to do it.. well each time i set it the stupid clock resets to the old time.

  allk my other clocks are fine except the computer.. i finally realized that if i set the computer to say i am in the central time zone it just might stay at the right time until the end of the month when i can rest it for eastern time.

  We used to purposely forget to alter our clocks so that we could walk in halfway through the Sunday meeting!
  That was the only good thing about it.

  I Got Married

  my soul mate and i got married on the 10th of march.

  had an absolute blast, was a totally undub event.

  Recovering from Surgery.... Missing St Patricks Day........

  i had 'outpatient' surgery yesterday - not to be confused with 'minor' surgery in today's world.

  if, after coming out of it, you still have a pulse, and can go pee, they will send you home.

  i am having limited pain today - but feel pretty good.
